Kieran has over 20 years of experience in the media industry in Hong Kong. Before forming Ninehills Editorial in 2001, Kieran was Assistant Publisher, Regulatory and Compliance, Sweet & Maxwell Asia. Kieran oversees the editorial services provided by Ninehills Media Ltd liaising closely with clients to ensure that quality and content match our clients’ requirements.

Paul has 20 years’ experience in the B2B media industry in Hong Kong and across Asia with media groups such as Euromoney Institutional Investor, Reed Elsevier, Informa; and for professional titles including: Accounting & Business, Hong Kong Lawyer, Singapore Law Gazette, Banking Today, Human Resources and Halsbury’s Law India. Paul also has expertise in digital media, having developed and launched multiple websites and a range of e-newsletters.

Sarah Graham – Editor

A writer, editor and digital media manager, Sarah has more than 20 years’ media experience spanning print and online in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, including managing editor roles at MailOnline.com in London, and scmp.com in Hong Kong.

George W. Russell – Editor

George is an experienced journalist resident in Asia for 22 years.  Focused on business, law and regulation George’s work has featured in a range of titles such as: The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Variety, South China Morning Post, Asia Business Law Journal and Far Eastern Economic Review.

Chris Davis – Editor

During the more than 25 years Chris has worked in Hong Kong he has written about a wide variety of topics ranging from human resources, finance and investment to business and environmental. He is a regular freelance contributor to the South China Morning Post and various business and lifestyle magazines in Asia and internationally.

Jimmy Chow – Editor/Translator

Jimmy is a freelance journalist, translator and researcher, specialising in real estate, banking and finance, and corporate governance. He has about eight years’ experience in business writing, executive interviews, advertorials and research reports for a variety of media organisations such as the South China Morning Post, The Standard, S&P Global Market Intelligence and IPSOS Business Consulting.

Gina Miller – Editor

Based in our North American office, Gina is a writer and editor with experience across news, print, magazines and corporate communications, Gina also has a secondary specialisation in academic editing. Gina has 18 years’ journalism experience in Canadian newspapers, commercial magazines such as the Asia Tatler portfolio and Finance Asia and diverse B2B publications.

Terence Fung – Editor/Translator

Terence commenced his editorial career over 20 years ago as a legal translator for law firms such as Clifford Chance and Linklaters. Before working with Ninehills, he was responsible for the Chinese-language content of magazine titles published by LexisNexis.

 

Creative

Ester Wensing – Designer

Ester has over 10 years’ experience in the media industry in Hong Kong. Before joining Ninehills, she worked in the production and art departments of several leading publications including  Time Magazine, Asiaweek and Discovery, the inflight magazine of Cathay Pacific.

Portia Le – Designer

Portia has over 10 years’ experience working in production, design and creative roles at the South China Morning Post and with major media companies such as Reed Elsevier PLC.

Simon Kay – Designer

Simon has over 20 years’ experience in the publishing field in Hong Kong as a graphic designer and design & production manager for major financial and legal publishing firms.  He has also created client-facing design work for many other companies across a range of industries.

Charles Leung – Designer

With over 15 years’ experience in creative design, Charles has worked on titles including Time Magazine, the Cathay Pacific and Dragonair inflight magazines, Hong Kong Tatler and Shang magazine. He has also worked with clients such as Galaxy Macau, Crown Worldwide Group, and Swedish Chambers of Commerce.

Jennifer Luk – Business Development

Jennifer is an experienced media and event business professional with more over 15 years of solid and progressive sales development experience gained from both local and regional markets. Jennifer has previously taken up several major business development roles with Singapore Press Holdings, LexisNexis and Thomson Reuters, and has successfully launched two publishing projects in China.

Frank Paul – Business Development

With over 20 years’ experience working in Asia, including 18 years in the media sector, Frank has worked extensively across the Asian region – including the Middle East and Australia. Frank’s entrepreneurial background with excellent experience working with start-ups as a print and online media expert also includes conference organisation and custom publishing.
